We provide professional nationwide mail-in sharpening services with reliable flat-rate and threshold-based shipping. Shoreline Shears & Edge offers FREE round-trip shipping on all sharpening orders of $200 or more. For orders below this threshold, a flat-rate shipping fee of $14.95 applies. Our service is available to all professionals within the USA, ensuring your precision tools are returned swiftly and securely.

CUSTOMER PACKAGING RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for securely packaging their tools for shipment. Each shear and detachable A5 clipper blade should be protected individually to prevent movement, metal-to-metal contact, and damage to cutting edges or teeth. Use a sturdy cardboard box with adequate padding. For detailed instructions, please see our Packing & FAQ page. If tools arrive with visible shipping damage, we'll document the condition and contact you to discuss next steps.
Service Scope
Household Scissors
Standard household, kitchen, crafting, and fabric scissors are not accepted for sharpening services at this workshop.
Surgical Tools
We do not process surgical instruments, medical-grade scalpels, or specialized dental equipment under our standard policies.
Repairs & Adjustments
Minor adjustments may be included with sharpening at SSE's discretion. If a tool requires significant repairs or additional charges, we'll contact you to discuss the options and obtain your approval before proceeding. Not all damaged tools can be repaired or sharpened.
14-Day Precision Guarantee
If you experience a cutting issue caused by our sharpening service, contact us within 14 calendar days of receiving your tools. If Shoreline Shears & Edge determines the issue resulted from our workmanship, we'll correct it at no charge and cover round-trip shipping for the correction. This guarantee does not cover pre-existing damage, misuse, normal wear, or mechanical defects unrelated to our sharpening work. Not all damaged tools can be repaired or sharpened.
